Activity 3: Creating a Timeline
Have students create a timeline of the pivotal events and illustrate it with:
- A one- or two-sentence description of the event
- A quotation from a related primary source
- An original illustration
- An image found online or in a print source
- Dates of related national events
- Dates of related world events
Revisit the questions listed in Activity #1. Explain why certain events were pivotal while others were not.
