Teachers Teaching Teachers
Eagle Hill School will once again host the EHS Institute's Teachers Teaching Teachers conference on Saturday, November 8th. The conference, designed for teachers and those pursuing a teaching career, is a place to network with and learn from seasoned educators.
Participants include practicing school teachers from the Boston, Fitchburg, Springfield and Worcester districts as well as Eagle Hill School. Sessions are based on action research completed by real teachers in real classrooms. They will be held on the Eagle Hill School campus in Hardwick, MA, including the beautiful, brand new Cultural Center at Eagle Hill.
The keynote address is by author Jonathan Mooney, a young man once labeled ýseverely learning disabledý who tells of his journey across America to find others who have used humor, imagination, and resiliency to create satisfying lives beyond ýnormal.ý
The cost of the conference is $25 for undergraduate and graduate college students as well as EHS Institute Alumni/ae. General public may attend at a cost of $40. Registration includes a continental breakfast, all sessions and materials, and a fabulous lunch and book signing with Jonathan Mooney.
Registration forms can be found on the front page of ehs1.org
